ABOUT PKKSJ
PKKSJ is Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Segamat Johor. PKKSJ is establish in 1995 as a non-profit, charitable organization by Christian community for social welfare purpose. PKKSJ is a registered body which operates and provides quality care for the residents of various homes. For the last 15 years, PKKSJ have endeavoured to fufill the Government's Vision of a Caring Society and go all out against the drug problems that is destroying lives and families.

Under PKKSJ, there are total of 14 homes under care of PKKSJ which include Children & Single Mothers Homes, Mental Renewal Homes, Old Folks Homes, Drug Rehabilitation Homes and Youth & Teenage Homes. Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Bestari is one of the children’s home under Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Segamat Johor (PKKSJ). So, what we are doing now is to decrease the burden of the Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Bestari on raising their financial to continue their daily expenses.
Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Bestari (Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Segamat Johor) has been acting tirelessly with the cooperation of their representatives and donors to help the vulnerable and needy in the Johor region. They work diligently to collect money to offer social care and they aim to empower and change the lives of those in need.
According to the one who in charge for the centre, she said that they need some donations to repair Air-Cond for their van as the van is only the transportation for them.

PKKSJ或 慈爱社工中心是柔佛州的Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Segamat。 PKKSJ成立于1995年，是基督教团体为社会公益目的而设立的一个非政府组织的慈善机构。 PKKSJ是一家注册机构，为各个房屋的居民提供经营和优质服务。在过去的15年中，PKKSJ努力实现政府对关爱社会的愿景，并全力以赴打击破坏生命和家庭的毒品问题。PKKSJ共有14所家庭护理，其中包括儿童和单身母亲之家，精神康复之家，老人院之家，毒品康复之家以及青年和青少年之家。 加略山儿童之家 （Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Bestari) 是Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Segamat Johor（PKKSJ）旗下的儿童之家之一。因此，我们现在正在做的是帮忙减轻加略山儿童之家（Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Bestari）的财务负担以继续日常开支的负担。

RISKS AND CHALLENGES
For the risk part under this project is there is a possibility for us which is we might be not able to achieve the targeted fund and unable to deliver whatever our promise to our donators or supporters. If we do not hit our funding goal, we are forced to reduce the amount of funds for helping the children in Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Bestari. There are also have a probability to not get the item listed.
What happens to any excess funding?
Any excess funding for this campaign will also donated to Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Bestari in Segamat Johor.
For the challenges part of this project, we need to do the fund collection within a short period. We might facing the difficulty to gain public trust. There are a barrier of communication among the members as we cannot meet together physically due to the current situation of pandemic.

This project is lead by 5 students from Universiti Malaysia Sabah Kampus Antarabangsa Labuan (UMSKAL) who are going to complete this crowdfunding campaign together with the collaboration with Persatuan Kebajikan Kasih Kanak-Kanak Bestari in Segamat, Johor. Our aim for this crowdfunding campaign is to guarantee the safety and critical needs of the most disadvantaged and at- risk communities in the center.
